Start with the seating and conversation areas, then aim coverage inward. Several appropriately placed speakers may cover those areas more evenly than a single loud pair aimed across the yard. Include a listening check at the property edge and agree on normal evening volume. This is a placement and commissioning decision, not a reason to buy the largest amplifier.

Before the landscape or patio work closes, coordinate cable routes, drainage, mounting, and electrical work with the responsible trades.
