Veranda family
For covered patios, screened porches and exterior rooms where direct sun does not reach the screen.
- Outdoor-rated enclosure
- Best value when the location stays shaded
- Current Veranda 4 smart-TV platform
A covered patio, a bright open wall and a pool deck are three different display environments. Compare SunBrite’s shade, partial-sun and full-sun choices before the mount, power, sound and network are locked in.

Start with the brightest two hours at the screen—not with the time the family expects to watch most often. Sun angle and reflections move across the year.

For covered patios, screened porches and exterior rooms where direct sun does not reach the screen.

A middle path for bright indirect light or limited sun exposure when a current model and size fit the project.

For uncovered and direct-sun locations where image brightness, anti-glare performance and heat tolerance lead the decision.

For direct sun when the front of the display also benefits from protective tempered glass.
| Family | Light environment | Current size picture | Temperature range | Front protection | Best client fit |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Veranda 4 | Full shade | Availability varies by model and channel; verify the current 49–75-inch options | 32°F to 122°F in SunBrite’s comparison material | No protective glass | Covered patios and screened rooms that remain shaded |
| SE / Signature 2 | Partial sun / bright indirect light | More limited sizes; SE is shown as 43-inch and Signature 2 availability should be confirmed | SE: −24°F to 122°F | Model-specific | A retrofit whose measured light falls between full shade and full sun |
| Solis | Full sun | 49, 55, 65 and 75 inches | 32°F to 122°F | No protective glass | Direct-sun residential areas where a clean smart-TV design leads |
| Pro 2 | Full sun | 32, 49 and 55 inches in SunBrite’s current comparison guide | −24°F to 104°F | Protective glass | Active spaces where impact protection matters with full-sun visibility |
SunBrite publishes model and size information that can change by inventory and sales channel. Treat this as a planning comparison, then confirm the exact current SKU, operating range, warranty and included accessories for the project.
These uncropped studio views keep the complete display visible. The different design intent is more important than a small cabinet difference.

A shaded wall at 10 a.m. can become a mirror at 5 p.m. The survey should photograph the screen wall and seating direction in the actual use window.
An outdoor rating is not one universal temperature range. The full-shade Veranda 4 and Solis comparison ranges start at 32°F, while SE and Pro 2 materials list lower minimum temperatures. That difference matters if the client expects cold-weather operation rather than simply leaving the display outdoors.
Confirm the permitted operating temperature for the exact SKU. Do not promise winter viewing from a general weatherproof claim.
Seal wall entries correctly, preserve drainage and airflow, and avoid trapping moisture behind a decorative surround.
Use the display manufacturer’s VESA pattern, a properly rated outdoor mount and structure—not siding or veneer alone.
Document blocking, masonry anchors, articulating clearance, wind exposure and the service position.
Use code-compliant exterior power and protect the display, source and network path as one system.
A weatherproof soundbar keeps dialogue near the screen; landscape or architectural speakers can cover the full seating area.
Test Wi-Fi at the TV and seats. A wired connection or nearby outdoor access point is usually the cleaner long-term plan.
Decide whether apps live in the TV, a protected streaming source or the Control4 system—and how one remote starts it.
Leave room to reach inputs, power, media bay and mount hardware without removing stone, trim or cabinetry.
Outdoor viewing competes with conversation, traffic, wind and a much larger listening area than a living room. The audio plan should be demonstrated at the seats—not judged from directly below the TV.

“We choose the SunBrite family from the sun exposure first. Veranda is for real shade. Solis is the clean full-sun choice. Pro adds protective glass where the screen needs more physical protection. Then we design the mount, sound, network, power and control around the way you will actually use the patio.”
Send photos of the TV wall at morning and afternoon, the seating direction, approximate viewing distance, desired screen size, power location and any speaker or Control4 plans. Denali Tech can map the display class, mount, wiring, sound and network before exterior finishes are complete.
